Common Barn Farm

Coopers at Common Barn Farm

Self catering cottages, B & B and Teashop.

We are a working sheep hill farm 1200ft up overlooking the Lamaload Reservoir in the Peak District National Park with breathtaking views across the Cheshire plain and as far as the Welsh Mountains. We have two barn-converted cottages: one is a three bed and one a two bed, superbly renovated with power showers and underfloor heating, to mention but a few of their attributes. We also have 5 ensuite double bedrooms for bed and breakfast, all with underfloor heating and power showers.

We have a Tea Shop on the farm especially catering for ramblers as we are on the Rainow Ring walkers' footpath. We have something for absolutely everyone from ramblers to campers, horse riders and bikers, all are welcome! For the horse riders we have the Lamaload Ride, which is basically allowing the rider to go anywhere over our 200 acres. Breathtaking views mean this beats tackling the traffic as you just ride over our fabulous hillsides and take in a feeling of freedom that the fantastic views give you.
