Mothers'Union

Contact: Doris Turner 01625 426055

Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation with more than 3.6 million members in 78 countries worldwide. The backbone of the Mothers' Union is its worldwide network of grassroots volunteers. Whatever their individual backgrounds, members are united in their commitment to supporting marriage and family life. They give their time to generously help others, whether by running local projects, supporting international campaigns, or fundraising.

In Rainow we have a thriving group which meets monthly usually in the Church Centre on the 3rd Tuesday to host entertaining speakers, fundraising events for the national charity, social events and deanery MU services not least of which being our own Advent Service where we as a branch organise the singing (MU choir!), readings and prayers, this is enjoyed by all involved and well received by the congregation.
All Welcome (including men!)
